something came to my attention last night before i dozed off :

Straits Times Online Mobile Print, known as the fcking STOMP.

no doubt, i disliked that online portal ever since what happened last time...though the irony was that, they own the forums, they gave freebies and we're freeloaders. but heck, gahment fascists.

perhaps thats why ...too, propaganda? im not criticizing my government. im quite contented with how it is...and maybe its because i have not experienced what those unhappy-citizens were experiencing?

for those who know of the webby, many unwanted things have and has happened there...somehow, it seems that it only happens to stomp, why not other forums?
don't give me bullshit such as, " other forums slack what" or "stomp mods more strict" .
i'd pretty much like to hear, "propaganda...."

so this was what happened(nothing related to propaganda or whatever those shit were). a certain event, competition regarding Bikinia Babes contest (if you know, then you know. dono, then just read) . there was this poll thingy, voting for the hottest babe with photos of every contestant.
what my friend noticed was that, one of the babes voting score shot up to more than 30k votes in less that 5 min. there were only 10k users, and to make things more suspicious, only registered users were allowed to vote, so how was this possible ?
30k votes in 5 min?
fingers crazy?
futuristic internet web page loading at 999999999 kb/s ?
even if so, to reach 30k in that short amount of time is virtually and realistically, impossble.

not if its the work of a script. or perhaps, they edited it themselves? my friend suspected, and posted his suspicions.

he got banned in the next few minutes, after in which he received a phone call from stomp, to reveal to him the reason why he was banned:

the organisers of the Reef Sandals (not sure of the name) contest was unhappy with his post and requested that his post be removed and banned. and for wtf was that? was that the way to host a competition?

imagine, the Olympics.

Guy, speaking with a loud hailer at stadium :"i think that sprinter used steriods..."
Organisers: "kill that guy who just accused the sprinter for using steriods."

killing is way OT, but its the same point.

1 by 1, all rebeled and hence all the usual old timers got banned, including myself. and the STOMP portal we once knew, no longer exists. the outings, the forum where we forged so many friendships.

in ever loving memory, of Ian.
