Imagine this for a moment... (no, this is not a Samsung advertisment)

You've just passsed your driving test, and you're buying a new car. You visit 2 separate car showrooms. The first salesman comes at you, desperate to sell a car to you. Every time he makes an offer and you hesitate. He quickly lowers the price just to please you.

Then you visit the second showroom, and salesman#2 appears very professional and talks in a slow and steady manner. He makes you an offer, and whether you accept or not. He doesn't lower his price drastically, no matter how hard you try to bargain. And as you think about the offer he has made, he proudly says, "This is a great car, it's really value-for-money. Every single cent you pay is definitely worth it. If you agree with my asking price, you can take it . Or you can leave it. Because, someone else will certainly purchase this car."

Now, imagine that you have an opportunity to get either of these two cars for free. Which one would you get? The second one of course. Because it automatically is perceived as being more valuable, because the salesman made it appear as if his car was in demand, and that it was worth having.

On the other hand, the first salesman seemed desperate. He made it seem as if no one else wanted the car in the first place, so he would take what he could get for it.

Well, this is exactly how women look at a guy. If he seems desperate(by calling all the time, or harrasing her), she thinks he is worthless.

The other guy who maintains his pride and remains calm and steady would be perceived as being valuable.

This turns her on and can give the average looking guy a huge advantage over a very good looking guy.

haha. i find it pretty true when it comes to choosing a car or buying canned foods or anything...

but i disagree if you're to apply it when choosing a partner... hmmms~

and i wish i can reverse the time and start all over again ...
